National parks and national landscapes don't run themselves- they're shaped by political decisions, and the people who know these landscapes best aren't always involved in the conversations that lead do these decisions.
Delivered in collaboration between the Snowdonia Society and Hope for the Future, this 90-minute workshop will help you understand how to effectively engage with your elected representatives, to make sure your national park works for climate, nature, and the communities living within them.
Using Hope for the Future's expertise in effective democratic engagement, this session will:
Improve your understanding of the unique political systems that exist within national parks, and how to engage within them
Share key issues facing national parks and national landscapes in Wales, and the opportunities for engaging local politicians on them as constituents and passionate community members
