On the 26th of September join us in the woods in Middleton Park, Leeds, for a family friendly day out in the woods where you can have fun AND make a positive difference.
Where:
Meet in Middleton Park, Leeds, next to the visitor's centre on Town St, Middleton, Leeds LS10 3SH.
When:
The event will run from 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
A Magical Woodland Walk is a nature-based, family-friendly outdoor theatre show designed to inspire curiosity, connect with nature and think about our relationship to the world around us.
Accessibility:
Our events have been designed with accessibility as a priority and are tailor made to be a welcoming space for all children. The show will move through the woods with the audience walking from one magical character and scene to the next. However there will just be a short walk between each element and the path will be wheelchair accessible. There will also be an accessible toilet nearby, a designated quiet space in case anyone feels overwhelmed, and ear protectors provided for anyone who needs them. The shows are run by teams that understand that kids all have their own needs and ways of participating. If your child needs to make some noise, take some time away or run around the woods, we understand and won’t be phased.
Travel costs:
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery we are also able to compensate some travel costs for each family attending in the form of a voucher that can be used in supermarkets and a range of other shops.
We'll meet everyone next to the Middleton Park Visitor's Centre. The show will start at 1.30pm so please arrive at 1.15pm and we can make sure we are ready to go on time.
